GOALS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

What does sustainability actually mean? And how does the circular economy in which WE operate sustain the sustainability and thus also the preservation of our valuable earth resources?

We accept recyclable plastic goods and RECYCLE them into pure regranulates that can and must be further processed as valuable recyclates (secondary raw materials) in order to conserve our earth’s resources. According to Dr. Michael Jedelhauser, recycling, along with waste prevention (repair/reuse), is one of the core principles of the circular economy [1] – the counter-model to the throwaway economy, in which new goods are constantly being produced and purchased.

Waste, plastic and synthetic materials are unavoidable in today’s world: But we could almost completely dispense with raw materials, e.g. crude oil, by bringing more recyclable raw materials into our cycle.

Sustainability as a goal

Don’t stay still, keep sustaining. Sustainability can only be more than just a word if we never stand still and continue to develop our goals.

We are contributing to the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This refers to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals with the aim of contributing to more sustainable development, peace and prosperity. They require the cooperation of all countries involved and mutually supportive partnerships.

With our approach, we are particularly dedicated to the following goals:

Ensuring a healthy life for all people of all ages and promoting their well-being.

Occupational safety and health protection is a priority for all employees. We follow a systematic approach to prevent accidents and illnesses in the workplace and continually work to improve it.

Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls to achieve self-determination

We promote an equal working environment in which all employees are valued for their diversity and rely on diverse perspectives.

Making cities and settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable

We contribute to sustainable urban development by avoiding waste. As a recycling company, our primary goal has always been to keep materials in their life cycle for as long as possible and to dispose of as little as possible.

Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns

Our corporate goal is to ensure the reduction of waste through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.

Take immediate action to combat climate change and its impacts

By carefully managing resources, reducing our CO2 emissions and using sustainably generated energy, we contribute to emissions savings.
