High transport costs are often incurred when disposing of load carriers, especially if a lot of air or light materials are transported. These costs can also quickly exceed the compensation for the material. To be both sustainable and cost effective, mobile recycling is a cost-effective way to recycle plastics. General Industries Deutschland (GID) can grind almost anything – from a small container to beverage crates to a complete pallet. Customized solutions are available for lightweight packaging such as EPP/EPE or rigid plastics such as bottle crates/logistics containers.
Currently, GID is on site with the mobile mill at a logistics company and is processing a total of 550 t of load carriers from the logistics area into regrind. Only by the omitted transports already more than 6,000 kg CO2 are saved.
