We see electromobility as a building block for sustainable mobility that is compatible with the climate and the environment.
· Electromobility is the key to climate-friendly mobility worldwide. The operation of electric vehicles produces significantly less CO2, especially in combination with regeneratively generated electricity.
· As an economic factor and growth driver, it sustainably shapes our industrial society through innovative and globally competitive products and services.
· It is an important element of a climate-friendly industrial, transport and energy policy. It offers the opportunity to reduce dependence on petroleum-based fuels.
· In addition, electric vehicles with their energy storage systems can compensate for fluctuations in wind and solar power in the future and thus support the expansion and market integration of these fluctuating energy sources.
Already today, almost 50% of our company fleet consists of electric cars. Over the next few years, we will gradually replace the remaining combustion vehicles. In order to meet the demand for charging stations, we have put e-charging stations into operation at our two locations in Kassel and our location in Eschwege, partly with the support of the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA).
